Hitachi Business Finance SVP Toby Dahm will be a panelist at the upcoming Association for Corporate Growth lunch-and-learn “Transactional Due Diligence Looking Beyond Numbers” on September 24 at the Skyline Club in Southfield.

The program will highlight the areas of due diligence that can be overlooked, including site reviews, reputations of the company and its representatives, business entity litigation and disputes, and more. Fellow panelists include Mark Paliszewski of Recon Management Group, Andrew MacLeod of Dickinson Wright PLLC and Michele McHale of Plante Moran. The discussion will be moderated by Ron Hingst of PR Services.

“As business transactions become increasingly complex, it’s imperative that a complete picture be presented,” said Dahm. “There is usually more to the story than just what the numbers present, and due diligence can offer those details, including the real value and inherent risks of the transaction. I’m eager to share our experiences at Hitachi Business Finance, and the intricate level of detail we require when working with a prospective client.”
