Hilco Valuation Services named Bryan Courcier senior vice president of its Transportation and Construction Advisory business.

The new position was created to build a valuation and advisory platform in the transportation, construction, material handling and related assets space. Courcier will be based in Denver, with specific responsibility for business development, sourcing, execution and relationship management within the company’s fleet management and yellow iron practice. Courcier joined Hilco Valuation Services from Hilco Industrial, where he spent the past two years as a deal-maker in the energy services, transportation and heavy equipment sector.

Courcier will be expanding HVS’s current capabilities and market presence by working with its existing teams on both the M&E and inventory sides of the business, while opening new avenues for growth in the equipment finance, specialty finance and advisory channels operating in these and related industries.

Before joining Hilco Global, Courcier spent 10 years at Ritchie Bros. Auctioneers, where he served as a national account manager with a focus on insolvency, restructuring and special situations within the construction and heavy equipment industry.
