Great American Group, a provider of advisory and valuation services, asset disposition and auction solutions and a subsidiary of B. Riley Financial, will close all 37 Jones New York factory stores in Canada.

The store closing sales started June 14, 2016 and are expected to last several weeks before all of the merchandise is sold in the store locations. Customers can expect to see initial discounts up to 40% off all apparel and accessories regular priced and clearance priced. Select furniture, fixtures and equipment at stores and distribution centers will also be available for sale.

“Great American Group’s history of working with the brand through our appraisal services has given us leverage in knowing their merchandise, and our experience working with fashion retailers means we understand their customers,” explained Scott Carpenter, president of GA’s Retail Solutions division. “Over the next several weeks we will work to quickly sell through the apparel and accessories while maximizing its value.”

Great American Group has developed an extensive retail disposition expertise after working with specialty retailers for over 40 years. GA’s strategy includes creating marketing plans to drive traffic and attract customers to yield a quick and efficient exit for store locations.
