GE Capital, Corporate Finance announced the appointments of Greg Eck and Dustin Weinberger as managing directors supporting the specialty team dedicated to meeting the commercial financing needs of metals and mining companies nationally.

Eck and Weinberger will report to Paul Feehan, senior managing director at GE Capital, Corporate Finance, who said, “Greg and Dustin bring a combined 30 years of experience to this specialty team and build on GE’s long heritage of financing American metals manufacturers. Their deep domain expertise enables them to work closely with clients and our expert underwriters to structure capital solutions that truly address the needs of metals and mining companies.”

Prior to this role, Eck most recently served as senior vice president and industry leader for metals and mining with GE Capital, Americas. As industry leader, Greg provided market insights and transaction guidance to metals and mining customers throughout North America. Previously, he served as senior vice president and metals and mining risk team leader underwriting senior secured loans. Eck brings nine years of experience with GE Capital to his new role.

Weinberger has been with GE Capital for ten years, most recently in the role of senior vice president of originations for the Corporate Finance business unit. In this position, he focused on financing solutions for middle-market companies in the Midwest U.S. where he closed a number of transactions to the metals industry. Previously, he served as the national marketing leader for GE Business Credit, a lender to smaller middle-market companies.
