GE Capital, Corporate Finance announced that the teams specializing in the purchase and sale of equipment loans and leases in the secondary market will now collectively report to Lou Vigliotti, senior managing director, Capital Markets. The realignment is designed to better serve the needs of investors, the company said.

“In many instances, our buy-side and sell-side investors are one in the same,” said Vigliotti. “This realignment helps us more efficiently and effectively serve investors and brings together product specialists with deep industry knowledge to ensure transactions are well executed across the board.”

“Capital markets expertise has always been a key component of our value proposition to customers,” said Eric Dusch, chief commercial officer for GE Capital, Corporate Finance. “Bringing together these teams under Lou’s leadership only strengthens this capability.”

To generate fee income and manage credit exposure, the equipment finance buy and sell desks at GE Capital work with finance and leasing companies, captive financial institutions and bank syndication desks to acquire or syndicate transactions or portfolios from $2 million to $100 million or more.
