Bob McCarrick joined Capital One’s Middle Market banking team as EVP and head of Middle Market Relationships. In this role, he will be responsible for regional Middle Market banking efforts throughout the East Coast and in Texas, Louisiana and neighboring states. He will also oversee specialty lending teams and will look to strategically expand the business into new specialty industries and financing products. McCarrick will report to Rob Stuart, executive vice president and head of Middle Market Banking. McCarrick recently moved to Dallas, where he will be based.

“Bob brings a wealth of experience to Capital One, and we will greatly benefit from his deep expertise and understanding of middle market banking,” Stuart said. “I look forward to working with him to grow our middle market business.”

McCarrick joins Capital One from GE Capital, where he spent 23 years in various business and leadership roles. He most recently served as the chief commercial officer for Corporate Finance, leading the direct lending and equipment loan business for GE Capital in the U.S.

“I am thrilled to join Capital One at a time when the Commercial Bank is growing,” McCarrick said. “I’m delighted to work with this high-performing team and partner with clients to provide them the financing solutions they need to grow.”
