GE Capital, Franchise Finance (GEFF) is rolling out a new Web tool to its customers across the United States, GE SmartChart, at this week’s Restaurant Finance & Development Conference in Las Vegas. GE SmartChart is designed to help restaurant owners build their businesses by enabling them to compare their performance within a location or segment with select GE Capital data and site analysis.

“In the current highly competitive environment our customers are constantly seeking insights to improve & grow their operations. This tool will help them in building their competitive edge,” said Agustin Carcoba, president and CEO, GE Capital, Franchise Finance. “Among other things it provides insight on a vast number of unit level analytics in one of the ways we use it to understand the industry, sector, segment, and brand. They can use the information to improve their own performance at the P&L level as well as searching for growth opportunities.”

With GE SmartChart, customers will be able to choose analytics for their current restaurant or potential location, look at nearby competitors, and access proprietary financial data and demographics by sector, segment, and brand.

GE SmartChart is easy to use as customers will be able to control their view on their tablet or desktop. It will be available exclusively for GEFF customers on the Customer Portal at www.gefranchisefinance.com beginning next month. GEFF customers should contact their account executive for access.
