Fundbox, an online factoring platform for small and medium-sized businesses, has added former Google/Facebook executive Prashant Fuloria as chief product officer, Oren Katz, as vice president of R&D, Michal Cieplinski, as general counsel and chief compliance officer and Johnson Ma as vice president of Business Development.

“We are building a world-class management team that will advance our mission of giving small businesses the ability to pay and get paid on their terms,” said Eyal Shinar, CEO of Fundbox. “Prashant, Oren, Michal and Johnson are tremendous additions to Fundbox and they bring a proven track record of success to our already strong team.”

At Fundbox, Fuloria will lead the company’s product and engineering efforts, including product strategy, design and delivery and will provide executive leadership within the company. Fuloria was most recently SVP of Advertising Products at Yahoo, managing the engineering and product teams driving Yahoo’s advertising business. Fuloria joined Yahoo through the acquisition of Flurry, a mobile app analytics platform. Prior to Flurry, Fuloria was senior director of Product Management at Facebook, responsible for Facebook’s commerce and advertising products. Before joining Facebook, he served as product director at Google, managing Google’s products for the Asia-Pacific region and building monetization products, both as an early product manager on Google AdWords and as the product director for Google’s global billing and payments platform.

Katz has more than 20 years of managing large R&D organizations and joined Fundbox from eXelate, a digital marketing data platform acquired by Nielsen, where he was VP of R&D and general manager.

Cieplinski has more than 12 years of global financial services experience, most recently as managing director and senior counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon.

Ma brings more than a decade of business development and strategy experience, including TrialPay (acquired by Visa in March 2015) where he helped secure major deals with Visa, MasterCard and American Express.
