First Capital Hires Olivencia as VP, MidSouth Underwriter


First Capital announced the hiring of Will Olivencia as vice president and underwriter in First Capital’s MidSouth regional office located in Atlanta. Olivencia will be responsible for underwriting and risk analysis of new business for the MidSouth region.

Prior to joining First Capital, Olivencia served as commercial loan underwriter for Wells Fargo Bank. Other underwriting positions include GE Capital Corporation and CIT Group, Business Credit, Inc. Olivencia has also held various account and portfolio management positions including account executive for CIT Group Commercial Services, Inc, senior vice president and portfolio manager for GMAC Commercial Finance, and vice president and senior account manager for GE Capital Corporation in the Global Financial Restructuring Division.

“Will’s 25 years of experience in the commercial finance industry will be a great asset to our region. We are happy to have someone like him who will be able to facilitate the complex and creative structures First Capital is known for,” said John Nooney, executive vice president and MidSouth regional manager of First Capital. “We welcome Will as the newest member of our team and as a solid contributor to the MidSouth’s growth strategy.”

First Capital provides financing ranging from $3 million to $20 million to middle-market companies with annual sales from $10 million to $200 million.
