Fesnak announced W. Michael Wolfe was promoted to partner effective January 1, 2014. He will be responsible for continued leadership and expansion of the firm’s Business Valuation Practice section.

Wolfe has more than 30 years of experience in public accounting, management consulting and private industry. Having been involved with mergers and acquisitions since the 1980s, he has substantial experience in valuing business enterprises, closely held securities, intellectual property and stock options. He has completed valuations for corporate planning, mergers and acquisitions, fairness opinions, sale of businesses, technology transfers, shareholder buy-outs, ESOPs, estate and gift taxation, succession planning, limited partnerships and fair value determinations under pronouncements of the Financial Accounting Standards Board. He has also served as an expert witness in legal proceedings relative to valuation and financial matters. His experience includes the rebuttal of opposing expert’s opinions, preparation of expert reports and related deposition and testimony.

Wolf is president of the PA East Chapter of the National Association of Certified Valuators and Analysts and a Business Valuation Committee member of the Pennsylvania Institute of CPAs.

A certified public accountant, Wolfe holds the designations of Certified Valuation Analyst (CVA) and Accredited in Business Valuation (ABV), both certifications granted to CPAs who have received specialized training in business valuation.
