Continuing to implement its 2015 strategic growth plans, ExpoCredit, an international specialty finance firm headquartered in Miami, appointed Joshua H. Chefec to drive new business development for the Northeast region.

Chefec will be working from the company’s Manhattan offices.

Prior to joining, Chefec served as the AVP for FGI. Before that, he was a sales associate at FGI. He also worked with Morgan Stanley Smith Barney in New Orleans and served as an analyst for J.P. Morgan Securities in New York.

“As ExpoCredit continues its upward growth trajectory in response to the global demand for alternative finance solutions, we look forward to having someone of Joshua’s caliber spearheading new business in the important Northeast region,” said Tyler V. Grady, EVP and CMO for ExpoCredit. “His background in finance, including handling asset-based loans of up to $100 million, will bring many advantages to our current and future clients.”

“I look forward to leveraging my previous experiences to help solidify a leadership position for ExpoCredit as the company expands into new market areas,” said Chefec. “The alternative finance sector has demonstrated impressive growth over the past 25 years, and I am excited to continue to be a part of this dynamic industry.”
