Dresner Partners announced it promoted Paul Hoffman to director from SVP. Hoffman has 15 years of investment banking experience, with a focus on merger and acquisition advisory and capital raising services. In 2013, he was named one of The M&A Advisor’s 40 Under 40, which honored emerging business leaders under the age of 40.

Prior to joining Dresner Partners, Hoffman worked for nine years at Bank of America Securities in Chicago. He spent seven years working in Bank of America’s Mergers and Acquisitions group, where he executed domestic and international transactions. He also spent two years as VP of the Global Industries Group, where he originated and executed M&A and capital raising transactions for both public and private companies.

Hoffman has advised on sell-side, buy-side, negotiated transactions, capital raising, defense advisory, going private and fairness opinion mandates for privately owned middle-market businesses as well as publicly traded companies. He has worked with clients in various industries including industrial, healthcare, technology, distribution, business services, consumer products, retail, and media and entertainment.
