Robert B. Hale has joined Dorsey & Whitney’s Corporate Group in Dallas as a partner.

Hale has a broad range of experience in corporate and securities matters, including representing public and private companies and private equity concerns in mergers and acquisitions, investment transactions and general corporate matters.

Before joining Dorsey, Hale was most recently a partner in the Dallas office of Norton Rose Fulbright US, formerly Fulbright & Jaworski. Prior to joining Fulbright & Jaworski, Hale was a partner with Hughes & Luce in Dallas.

“We are very pleased that Rob has joined Dorsey,” said Ken Cutler, managing partner of Dorsey & Whitney. “He brings a wealth of experience that will help us build a very strong corporate and securities law presence in Dallas.”

Prior to entering law school, Hale worked as an accountant on the financial audit staff of KPMG from 1985 to 1990. He was licensed in Texas as a certified public accountant from 1987 until 1992.

“Adding Rob to our firm demonstrates our continued commitment to serve our existing clients’ needs and to grow our client base both in Texas and nationally,” said Larry Makel, Finance and Restructuring partner of the Dallas office. “We are excited to be able to continue to build a strong corporate and securities law presence in Dallas that will complement Dorsey’s Firm-wide M&A, Capital Markets, Corporate Governance & Compliance and Emerging Companies practices.”
