Dickinson Wright announced attorney Laura L. Hult joined the firm as a member. She will be based in the firm’s Columbus office.

Hult handles matters for clients at all levels of the capital structure. She regularly represents senior lenders, mezzanine lenders, institutional investors and subordinated debt funds in all aspects of complex financial transactions, including alternative investments, financings of management buy-outs, tender offers and other leveraged acquisitions; bridge financings; financings for growth capital; recapitalizations; workouts; and portfolio purchases and sales. She has experience representing her corporate finance clients in protecting their existing investments in workout or restructuring scenarios and negotiating with senior and junior as well as unsecured creditors in order to preserve investment value.

She also negotiates and advises clients on a range of transactional matters and business relationships, including mergers and acquisitions, equity co-investments, joint ventures, recapitalizations and general commercial transactions.

Hult is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association and a member of the American Bar Association’s business law section. She received her J.D. from The Ohio State University Moritz College of Law.
