KPMG named Lisa Daniels managing partner of its Silicon Valley office, effective January 1.

Daniels succeeds Tim Zanni, who was named global and U.S. chair of KPMG’s Technology, Media and Telecommunications (TMT) practice, as well as the global and U.S. leader of KPMG’s Technology Sector practice.

In her new role, Daniels will be responsible for the strategic direction and growth of the Silicon Valley office.

Daniels has served as the managing partner of KPMG’s Phoenix office for the past five years and also brings experience in the technology industry. She possesses more than 25 years of professional experience assisting global organizations with business and technology-related risks, as well as performing financial and systems audits.
