David Steckl and Yang Tang joined Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank’s Global Markets Americas Financial Institutions Sales team.

Steckl joined as head of Rates, Short Term and Solutions Sales for North America Financial Institutions, while Tang became head of Solutions Sales for North America Financial Institutions.

Steckl will be based in New York and be responsible for leading three Sales teams: Rates, Short Term and the Solutions Sales. He will report to Kashif Zafar, head of Sales for the Americas and deputy head of the Global Markets Division, Americas.

He has nearly 20 years’ experience within global markets sales and most recently served as head of Institutional Rates Sales at UBS. Steckle also previously served in various roles at Deutsche Bank, Credit Suisse and Merrill Lynch, covering FIG clients for rates, credit and solutions.

Tang will lead the newly created Solutions Sales team, mainly covering banks (ALM, funding and XVA teams), insurance companies and pension funds in North America. He will also be based in New York and report to Steckl.

Tang joins from Deutsche Bank where he led the rates structuring and solutions effort in the Americas within the Institutional Client Group. His previous experience includes similar roles working with FIG clients at Morgan Stanley and Citigroup.
