According to a report posted by Syracuse.com, Coyne International Enterprises filed for bankruptcy protection and is seeking to reorganize.

Coyne serves 9,100 customers in 24 states through nine commercial laundry plants and 16 service centers. The company provides uniform sales, rental and laundry services to a wide variety of industries. It also provides linens, mats, towels and restroom hygiene products.

According to the report, Coyne, which was founded in 1929, was said to owe NXT Capital, its senior secured lender, approximately $34 million and its junior secured lender, Medley Opportunity Fund II, approximately $20 million.

The report also notes that Next Capital has committed to provide $3.5 million of DIP financing during the reorganization.
