Corporate Finance Associates Wins Deal of the Year


Corporate Finance Associates (CFA), an international middle-market investment banking firm, said it was honored by Global M&A Network’s Atlas Awards as winner of the Industrials Deal of the Year, Small Mid-Market, recognizing the Shamrock Manufacturing acquisition by Prime Natural Resources. CFA received the award for its advisory work on the transaction.

Shamrock Manufacturing is an oil field service company in the U.S. that is focused on customer service, quality control and state of the art technology. Houston, TX-based Prime Natural Resources is an operating company, wholly owned by an alternative investment firm with current businesses falling into three major categories: exploration and production, manufacturing and agribusiness.

“It was a pleasure working with the management team at Shamrock Manufacturing,” said Matt Register, CFA Houston. George Walden, also of CFA Houston, adds, “We could see this transaction made sense on so many levels and we congratulate both Shamrock and Prime Manufacturing for having the vision to combine efforts.”

The Americas M&A Atlas Awards, sponsored by Global M&A Network, honors top mid-market deals in North and South America. The awards honored top transactions, star deal maker teams and outstanding firms at the annual winners circle gala.
