Bluedrop Performance Learning Inc. announced that Carl M. Youngman has accepted a position as a special advisor to the company’s Board of Directors.

Youngman has more than 40 years of experience in business management. He is currently the chairman of Youngman and Charm, an equity investment, management, and financial advisory firm that provides financial and strategic positioning services. In this capacity, he provides CEOs with advice on strategic planning and development, change and culture management, and financial investments.

He is a globally recognized authority in entrepreneurship and managing growing businesses and currently teaches these skills at Babson College of Massachusetts. He is also the author of “In Search of Turnarounds.”

A Certified Turnaround Professional (CTP), Youngman received a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is one of the founders of the Turnaround Management Association, a former vice chairman and the principal author of its Code of Ethics, as well as a trustee and a member of the Finance Committee for Lesley University. In addition, he has been a Board Member for over 50 companies, including NYSE and NASDAQ public companies and a partner in several private equity firms with total assets under management of 1 billion dollars.
