Paul Hastings announced that it represented Fresnillo in connection with its inaugural international issuance of debt securities. The offering involved the issuance of $800 million of 5.500% senior notes due 2023 pursuant to Rule 144A and Regulation S. Citigroup, Deutsche Bank and J.P. Morgan acted as underwriters.

The effort was a multi-jurisdictional transaction involving coordination between the firm’s New York and London offices.

New York Latin America Practice partners Mike Fitzgerald, Joy Gallup and Arturo Carrillo and counsel Steven Sandretto led the Paul Hastings team, which also included associates Arnaldo Rego and Bruno Espindola. London Corporate partner James Cole lead the team advising on UK matters, which also included associate George Weston.

Fresnillo, one of the world’s largest silver and precious metals miners, is a UK-organized, FTSE 100 company with operations primarily in Mexico.
