The Commercial Finance Association, a nonprofit trade association representing the asset-based lending industry, is accepting applications for an executive director position based in New York City.

The executive director is responsible for day-to-day supervision of the 14-member CFA staff and for implementing all financial decisions, including budgeting and the preparation of timely financial statements.

Other responsibilities include convention planning, member education, foreign and domestic advocacy and acting as the liaison with CFA’s foreign and domestic chapters. Communication skills and business development expertise are requirements.

The CFA is a membership-run organization and the executive director reports directly to the organization’s Executive and Management Committees. Travel is required and compensation is negotiable.
