Twenty-one-year banking veteran Alfonso Castell De’Oro joined Opus Bank as managing director, senior client manager. He will be responsible for expanding Opus’ commercial and corporate client base in the Inland Empire region of California.

Castell De’Oro most recently served as vice president, commercial relationship manager at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he was responsible for growing and managing a portfolio of lower middle market commercial clients in the Inland Empire region of Southern California. Prior to Bank of America, he served as vice president, commercial relationship manager at Community Bank, where he focused on developing depository and commercial lending relationships with small businesses and lower middle market companies.

From 2008 to 2009, Castell De’Oro served as vice president, commercial relationship manager at Chase Bank and from 2006 to 2008, as vice president, commercial loan officer at Wells Fargo. He began his banking career at Wells Fargo in 1997.
