Lawrence “Larry” Cannariato joined Sterling National Bank’s Asset-Based Lending division as vice president, senior underwriting manager. He will report to Michael Haddad, president of Capital Finance.

Based in Dallas, Cannariato will manage those underwriters responsible for the due diligence and structuring of new asset-based lending opportunities across the U.S. He will coordinate between the underwriters, credit and business development, ensuring loan requests meet both the needs of the customer and Sterling.

He was most recently senior underwriter for Capital One’s Asset Based Lending team, with duties that included both underwriting and portfolio management. During his 36-year banking career, Cannaroptp held positions at GE Capital, Bank of America, Guaranty Bank, JPMorgan Chase, Wells Fargo, the Farm Credit Administration and Capital One.
