Matthew Brogdon joined Guggenheim Securities as a senior managing director in the firm’s Houston-based Oil and Gas Investment Banking Group.

Brogdon brings over two decades of experience advising and managing oil and gas companies and assets. He was most recently co-head of the Energy Acquisitions & Divestitures Group at Citigroup. Before Citigroup, Brogdon served as chief operating officer of a private oil and gas company. He also served in the Corporate Advisory Practice at Evercore Partners, where he focused on M&A and capital raising for energy firms. He began his career in engineering roles with ExxonMobil and Netherland Sewell & Associates.
