Breakout Capital appointed Darwin W. Olympia, formerly of Harris Williams, as its chief financial officer. Olympia will assume responsibility for overseeing all financial affairs of the company.

Prior to joining Breakout Capital, Olympia served as a director for Harris Williams and previously served as a vice president for FBR Capital Markets. In these capacities, Olympia advised a diverse group of privately held and publicly traded companies on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising and strategic advisory assignments.

Olympia’s prior experience also includes strategy and operational consulting work at A.T. Kearney, where he advised companies on growth initiatives such as go-to-market strategy design, outsourcing partnerships and international expansion.

Olympia began his career as a certified public accountant for Arthur Andersen, where he provided audit and business advisory services to companies across a wide range of industries.
