BMO Harris Bank announced that Derrick Johnson has joined the company as vice president of business development for the asset-based lending group. Based in Minneapolis, Johnson is responsible for originating asset-based loans to middle-market companies throughout the U.S. and Canada.

Prior to joining BMO Harris Bank, Johnson worked in U.S. Bank’s asset-based and middle-market lending groups in Minneapolis. Johnson began his career in public accounting with Ernst and Young in its financial services practice.
