Bloomberg: NYC Opera Files for Bankruptcy; Lowenstein Sandler is Counsel

Bloomberg reported that the New York City Opera filed for bankruptcy due to declining income and a failed fundraising effort; Kenneth Rosen of Lowenstein Sandler is serving as legal counsel.

The nonprofit organization listed as much as $10 million in assets and debt in a Chapter 11 petition filed today in U.S. Bankruptcy Court in Manhattan, according to Bloomberg .
