BDO Consulting announced the expansion of its Valuation Services practice with the addition of Darleen Armour as a director in the Los Angeles office. In this role, Armour brings 25 years of experience in valuing business enterprise, securities and intangible assets to serve the needs of the Southern California market.

“Darleen’s depth of valuation experience across a wide range of industries, including media and entertainment, expands our service offerings on the West Coast and enhances our national presence,” said Carl W. Pergola, executive director of BDO Consulting.

“Performing valuations related to financial and tax reporting, compliance, employee stock ownership plans and in litigation and dispute advisory matters, Darleen is skilled in identifying value in a range of scenarios, making her a strong asset for the practice,” said Anthony Alfonso, senior managing director and Valuation Services practice leader.

Armour’s experience includes merger and acquisition advisory as well as the provision of fairness opinions. She serves a variety of clients that include publicly traded and privately held middle market companies, Fortune 500 companies, private equity firms, law firms and business owners. She is also experienced in numerous industry sectors, including technology, life sciences, retail and consumer products, natural resources, healthcare, construction, media and entertainment, and aerospace and defense.

Prior to joining BDO, Armour held senior positions in the valuation practices of FMV Opinions, Cronkite & Kissell and Houlihan Lokey. She currently teaches a graduate level Business Valuation course at the Mihaylo College of Business and Economics at California State University, Fullerton.
