Bank of the West promoted Matthew Weidle to director and market manager in the bank’s Commercial Banking Group. In his new role, Weidle will lead strategy for a team of bankers specializing in working with businesses with $25 million and higher in annual sales.

Weidle also managed relationships for subsidiaries of key corporate clients in Illinois and the Midwest for Bank of the West’s parent company, BNP Paribas. Prior to Bank of the West, Weidle was a VP at La Salle Bank and RBS Citizens.
