Banc of California announced the following four key additions to its commercial bank:

David Park has joined the bank as managing director, Business Banking. Park joins Banc of California from City National Bank where he served as senior vice president and head of Business Banking. Over his nine-year tenure at City National Bank, he founded and expanded the Business Banking Group and also served as manager of SBA lending.

John Chung has joined the bank as senior vice president and director of sales for the Business Banking division. Chung joins Banc of California from City National Bank where he served as senior vice president and team lead for Business Banking. Previously, Chung focused on business development and client relationship management at First Citizens, Wells Fargo, GE Real Estate and California National Bank.

Jessica Batarseh has joined the bank as vice president and relationship manager for the Business Banking division. Batarseh joins Banc of California from City National Bank where she served as vice president and Business Banking relationship manager. Previously, Batarseh focused on business development and client relationship management at Automatic Data Processing (ADP).

Matthew Smith has joined the bank as vice president and relationship manager focused on middle market lending and sponsor finance. Smith joins Banc of California from California Bank & Trust with prior experience at OneWest Bank and Wells Fargo Bank.
