Balance Point Capital Partners, a provider of capital to lower-middle market companies, announced that Nathan D. Elliott joined the BPCP team as a vice president.

Elliott brings an extensive background in the underwriting and execution of debt financings to non-investment grade companies. For the past four years, Elliott worked at Jefferies Finance where he was a vice president responsible for the due diligence and underwriting of syndicated loan and bridge financings primarily for Sponsor led LBO transactions. He developed significant experience in a variety of industries including healthcare, manufacturing, telecom, media, restaurant and consumer.

Elliott began his career in financial services at GE Capital where he graduated from the selective two-year ECLP (Experienced Commercial Leadership Program) training program. He later served as an associate and assistant vice president at GE Capital’s Corporate Lending business where he underwrote senior secured debt transactions and monitored a portfolio of GE’s corporate clients.

“Nathan’s extensive background in underwriting and executing debt transactions will be a great asset to BPCP as we continue to grow our capital base,” commented Managing Partner Seth Alvord. “Nathan’s interest and experience in the middle market fits well with our investment strategy and will enable us to continue to support companies and management teams with capital and strategic input.”
