The 20th Annual Factoring Conference, held April 9-12 in San Francisco, drew an unprecedented number of attendees to the Westin St. Francis. With over 750 worldwide attendees and 45 exhibitors, it was the largest global conference dedicated to banks and finance companies that offer factoring and receivables financing. Participants said the conference had immense energy and provided a wealth of knowledge to help them succeed.

With an excellent variety of topics, informative speakers, multilevel educational courses, and engaging breakout sessions, attendee feedback was overwhelmingly positive. “Best conference ever,” said Harvey Friedman of Lenders Funding.

“It gets better every year and I’ve been coming for 15 years,” added Alan Eliasof of Prestige Capital.

The numerous networking events provided countless opportunities for attendees to speak with respected professionals and leaders from a variety of industry sectors. “Most valuable week of my year,” said Philip Cohen of PRN Funding.

“Best conference in years without a doubt – our best lead generator for a small budget!” said Tinamarie Sulpizio of Ansonia Credit Data.

The balanced agenda covered a variety of diverse topics and with more than 60 speakers attendees were able to easily participate in multiple sessions. The keynote speeches were well-attended and well-received. Jeffrey Ma, president and CEO of TenXer and a member of the infamous MIT blackjack team, spoke to a standing room only crowd. His innovative metrics gave attendees a brand new way of looking at their businesses. Similarly, participants were engrossed by Dr. Christopher Thornberg, Founding Partner of Beacon Economics, LLC, one of the earliest and most adamant predictors of the 2007 subprime mortgage market crash and the global economic recession that followed. Patrick Renvoisé, President of SalesBrain, captivated listeners with the science behind buying decisions that would help them create messages their customers will notice, understand, remember and value over those of the competition.

If you couldn’t make it to San Francisco, all sessions were taped and can be purchased through factoring.org. Mark your calendars now for the 21st Annual conference, to be held at the Roosevelt Hotel in New Orleans on April 15 – 18, 2015.
