American State Bank added Todd Tutt and Richard Solomon as senior vice presidents, Commercial Lending.

Tutt and Solomon will serve the Tyler, TX area’s commercial clients, providing customers with swift, local decisions for the full suite of consumer and commercial cash management and loan solutions to existing and future commercial, non-profit and municipal customers.

Tutt has served the Tyler community’s banking needs for 25 years. Prior to joining American State Bank, Todd was executive vice president and Northern Division president for First Bank & Trust East Texas where he was responsible for management of the Tyler, Longview and Palestine, TX markets.

Solomon comes to American State Bank with 30 years of banking experience, serving as a strategic partner to business owners and their families. Prior to joining American State Bank, Richard served as senior vice president at First Bank and Trust East Texas where he was a commercial lending officer.
