American Eagle Energy announced that it amended its senior credit facility with Morgan Stanley Capital Group to reduce its working capital requirement from $33.0 million to $23.5 million as a condition precedent to obtaining an additional $40 million earmarked for the purpose of purchasing additional interests in the Spyglass Project area in the Williston Basin in northwestern Divide County, North Dakota from a joint partner.

Denver-based American Eagle Energy is an independent exploration and production operator focused on acquiring acreage and developing wells in the Williston Basin of North Dakota, targeting the Bakken and Three Forks shale oil formations.
