Amalgamated Bank announced three additions to its leadership team. These three new veteran executives will report to Keith Mestrich, president and CEO of Amalgamated Bank, and will support the expansion of Amalgamated as it looks to grow its presence with core constituents including unions and their funds, political organizations, progressive nonprofits and their members. The new executives come to Amalgamated from a range of leadership positions in the financial world.

Rupert Andrew Allan, chief trust officer, served as managing director and head of Client Group at Loeb King Capital Management. Previously, Rupert served as president of Prudential Bache Asset Management.

Duane Crisco, chief lending officer, previously served as a managing director and Northeast/Mid Atlantic market executive at GE Capital and as a partner at SwingBridge Capital.

Drew LaBenne, CFO, was the CFO for business banking at JP Morgan Chase and was previously CFO for Commercial Banking and Retail Banking at Capital One Financial.

“Continuing our year of growth and change at Amalgamated, we brought these executives on board to help us take our bank to the next level,” said Mestrich. “They come from diverse backgrounds, but all three individuals bring seasoned expertise and perspective to their positions at Amalgamated. We are thrilled to have them here as part of our team, working to bring an ever higher caliber of service to our clients and partners.”
