Alvarez & Marsal (A&M) continues to strengthen its private equity performance improvement group with the additions of senior directors; Andrew Bronstein, based in Philadelphia, Mike Darland based in Boston, Klaus Weisenberger based in San Francisco and James Guyette based in Chicago.

These hires enhance A&M’s ability to meet the continuing demand for value creation with performance improvement services that address stakeholders’ needs.

He specializes in leading performance improvement initiatives and serving in interim management leadership roles to drive change and create value. Prior to joining A&M, Bronstein held leadership roles at SunGard, including chief accounting officer and CFO of the Software and Services group.

His corporate engagements include serving as CEO of a highly-patented water distillation system; CEO of a restructured cabinetry company; and COO of the world’s largest greenhouse facilities and for a food processing company.

Weisenberger specializes in operational due diligence and achieving operational excellence. He has experience across a variety of industries including pharmaceuticals, manufacturing, engineering and logistics. Prior to joining, Dr. Weisenberger served as Operations VP in Hitachi Consulting’s Chemical and Life Sciences practices.

He has 15 years of operations and engineering management consulting experience advising global multinational corporations and middle market companies. Guyette has significant knowledge of the aerospace, agriculture, automotive and transportation sectors, with assignments ranging from simple design engineering projects to complex systems integration programs.
