Alvarez & Marsal appointed Clayton Gammill and Byron Smyl as managing directors in its Atlanta-based Corporate Transformation Services practice.

“Individually and collectively Clayton and Byron bring in-depth and unique skill sets that will help us meet growing market demand for companies to transform and address a range of transformation issues,” said Joseph Berardino, a managing director with Corporate Transformation Services and the East Region Corporate Performance Improvement practice.

Gammill brings more than 20 years of change management, business strategy, systems implementation, project execution and organizational transformation experience. Prior to joining A&M, he was a principal in the People and Advisory Services practice at EY for seven years.

Smyl brings more than 25 years of experience in telecommunications and consulting as well as in-depth technology, media and telecom expertise to his new role. Over the course of his 12 years at A&M, Smyl has served in numerous interim management and financial advisory roles across a wide range of industries. Before joining A&M, he was a managing director at XRoads Solutions Group.
