Alvarez & Marsal said it has added managing director Lauren Hill to its growing Valuation Services practice. She is based in Washington, D.C.

With more than 28 years of valuation experience, Hill specializes in the valuation of equipment and facilities for leasing and financing purposes, with a concentration in energy related assets. She has valued a wide range of manufacturing entities for purposes including: sale/leaseback transactions; tax leases and synthetic leases; project financing; purchase price allocation and transaction pricing.

“As we continue to strengthen our team of world-class professionals, Lauren’s deep expertise in equipment finance and renewable energy greatly complements our existing portfolio of offerings, including tax reporting, shareholder value analysis and enterprise valuations,” said John O’Neill, managing director and national practice leader of Alvarez & Marsal’s Valuation Services practice. “We look forward to working with Lauren and the expert team of senior valuation experts accompanying her as we continue to add firepower to our advisory practices in response to increasing demand for these types of services.”

Prior to joining A&M, Hill spent more than four years with Mesirow Financial Consulting in New York, where she most recently served as senior vice president, managing the Structured Finance Valuation Practice. She also worked in various valuation roles for Navigant Capital Advisors, Lease Valuation International and Deloitte & Touche Valuation, where she was responsible for managing and performing valuation projects for the leasing industry.

Hill is a current member of the Equipment Leasing & Finance Association Board of Directors. She is also a past chair and member of the Equipment Management Committee of the Association.
