AlixPartners appointed Kathryn Britten as a managing director in its Financial Advisory Services (FAS) team. Britten will be based in the firm’s London office. She will help continue the expansion of the forensic accounting and investigations offerings within the firm’s European Financial Advisory Services practice.

Britten has 40 years’ experience in the accounting profession and specializes in supporting clients in resolving disputes. This includes acting as an adviser and privileged consultant, an expert witness and expert determiner.

Britten was formerly chairman of KPMG Forensic UK, a partner in KPMG’s UK dispute advisory team and the UK head of Forensic Accounting at BDO.
