Leo Grohowski, chief investment officer at BNY Mellon Wealth Management, will analyze and forecast America’s business prospects for 2014 at ACG New York’s annual Economic Update breakfast on Jan. 9.

His presentation will include: a U.S. GDP growth forecast, stock market forecast, corporate earnings forecast, asset class recommendations, interest rate forecast and regional growth prospects.

The event, being held at the Hofstra University Club on Long Island, will be attended by business owners, corporate executives, private equity investors, investment bankers, commercial lenders and transactional advisors.

Grohowski leads all investment strategy and investment management functions for BNY Mellon Wealth Management and is chairman of its Investment Policy Committee. He is also a member of BNY Mellon’s Operating Committee. He joined BNY Mellon in 2007 after positions as chief investment officer at U.S. Trust, now a part of Bank of America Merrill Lynch, and Deutsche Bank in the Americas. As of June 30, 2013, BNY Mellon Wealth Management had $182.5 billion in assets under management, Barron’s reported.

Attendees are expected to include senior-level executives from middle-market companies, private equity firms, investment bankers, lenders, M&A advisors, attorneys, accountants and business consultants.
