ACG Atlanta, the Atlanta chapter of the Association for Corporate Growth, announced that Daniel H. Bauer, chief financial officer of CardioMEMS, will become the chapter’s new president, effective July 1.

“It is an honor for me to take on a leadership role with ACG Atlanta,” said Bauer. “I consider ACG Atlanta the premier organization for the growth and promotion of the deal making and capital raising community in the southeast and look forward to contributing to the advancement of the organization.”

Additionally, ACG Atlanta elected the following chapter officers for 2013-2014:

Vice president, membership: Catherine Dixon, The Intersect Group; vice president, Programs: Sarah O’Brien, O’Brien & Company; vice president, Strategic Planning: Ed Fisher, SouthPointe Ventures; secretary: Denise Boyd, Grant Thornton; and treasurer: Robert Owen, Tucker Midis & Owen.

Greg Cinnamon, a partner at Kilpatrick Townsend who has led ACG Atlanta over the last two years, will continue his service to the chapter in the role of immediate past president, a chapter officer position.

“ACG Atlanta is the Southeast’s premier membership organization for merger and acquisition executives, with new programs planned for 2013 – 2014 to expand our corporate and women initiatives,” said Cinnamon. “The 2013 – 2014 slate of officers was selected to execute on our mission and strategies and with Dan Bauer at the helm to lead the efforts, I am confident it will be a very successful year for ACG Atlanta by every measure.”
