The ABI will hold its workshop titled “Lending to Distressed Companies: Credit Analysis to Exit Strategy (or Keeping the Benefit of Your Bargain)” on September 15, 2014.

The workshop will be held September 15, 2014, at the ABI Conference Center in Alexandria, VA from 12:30 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. ET. A cocktail reception will follow at 5:30 p.m.

Individuals can attend live or via webcast and earn 3.253.5 hours of CLECPE credit.

The event is co-sponsored by ABF Journal, the Turnaround Management Association (Chesapeake Chapter), IWIRC (Greater Maryland and Washington, D.C. Networks), New York Institute of Credit and International Factoring Association (NE Chapter).

Three panels of experts in law, banking, turnaround finance, portfolio management and factoring will share insights into today’s lending environment, including sessions on:

  • Current market conditions for middle-market companies in need
  • Portfolio and credit management in the post-recession era
  • Inter-creditor and lender-liability issues, equitable subordination, fee structures and make-whole provisions from a legal perspective
  • The workshop will begin with a networking lunch and conclude with a cocktail reception on ABI’s rooftop deck overlooking the Potomac River.
