The International Factoring Association (IFA) expects a record number of attendees at its 2014 Factoring Conference to be held April 9 through 12, 2014 in San Francisco, CA. Exhibit hall space has sold out earlier than in prior years, and the conference is on track for another year of record attendance.

A number of factors are driving interest in the show, including appearances by high-profile speakers and executives, unparalleled access to industry peers and industry participants wanting to stay ahead of the competitive curve.

Speakers include Dr. Christopher Thornberg, founding partner of Beacon Economics, LLC and widely considered to be of California’s leading economist. An expert in economic forecasting, regional economics, real estate analysis, labor markets, and economic policy, he was one of the earliest and most adamant predictors of the subprime mortgage market crash that began in 2007, and of the global recession that followed.

“We are very excited about our speakers and activities and hope they will draw some new faces. The conference provides an opportunity for attendees to interact with industry leaders and peers in roundtables, educational sessions and networking events. As always, we expect there to be a healthy exchange of ideas and a lot of lively discussion, both in sessions and afterwards,” said Bert Goldberg, executive director of the IFA.

The conference will also include the ever-popular Point/Counterpoint – Cast Your Vote session. Three disputed topics will be presented and debated, and the audience will have the opportunity to vote on which side of the issue they support.

Early registration discount ends January 31, 2014. The full agenda and registration details are available on the event website at click here.
