Qualifications:
Perform risk analysis of prospective clients. Such analysis would include the completion of written credit approval reports in a timely manner supported by a model that appropriately reflects the contemplated transaction, correctly calculates projected availability based on the field exam and other relevant data, accurately projects financial covenants, and contains an underwriter prepared sensitivity case that is appropriate given the key risks in the deal.
Maintain credibility with management by thoughtful and complete analysis of transactions, inclusive of credit and collateral.
Must have effective written and verbal presentation skills, rationale for proposed solutions, and the ability to facilitate the closing of approved loan transactions.
Assist the Underwriting Manager in coordinating the transaction process with the following groups: Field Exam, Marketing, inside and outside legal counsel, and outside appraisal groups.
Responsible to understand and effectively use the research resources available through sources accessible via the Internet as well as other forms.
Assist the Underwriting Manager and Business Development Officers in pre-screening potential clients, which entails summarizing the key aspects of the transaction and developing models on financial results.
Requirements:
Must have five+ years of underwriting or account management experience in asset based lending or other comparable experience in the leveraged lending or financial services arena.
Also acceptable would be a combination of at least three years of field exam experience coupled with at least two years of underwriting and/or account management experience.
A degree in Accounting or Finance is preferred.
A CPA or MBA is desirable.

Excellent written and oral communication.
Communication abilities should include the ability to provide concise updates on the status of assignments and identify areas requiring immediate communication up the organizational chain.

Ability to get the job done within very tight time frames.

Qualifications:
Possess a minimum of five years of underwriting and/or portfolio management credit experience in a cash flow, asset-based, or mezzanine lending environment.
Exhibit the ability to read and comprehend balance sheets, income statements, and statement of cash flows.
Possess strong interpersonal and organizational skills, as well as an ability to work independently.
Strong communication skills are essential in order to work effectively with senior management, internal or external counsel, and clients.
A disciplined attention to detail, positive attitude and completion of a formal credit-training program are highly desired.
Bachelor’s Degree with extensive course work in finance, accounting, economics or mathematics is required. An MBA or CFA is a plus.
